# Discovery & Assessment

Application Assessment allows you to connect to an endpoint system (host/system) and collect data and metrics from the system but also detailed introspection data from the applications running on those hosts, their dependencies and connections & relationships. You can also connect directly to a source code repository and analyse it's content (source code) for assessment.
